October PTA Meeting

Join us this Wednesday 10/10 at 8:45 a.m. for our PTA meeting - in the Exploratory Arts room or via Facebook Live. The meeting is right after the Principal's Coffee (8 a.m.) - this one is especially for the new families (yummy snacks, childcare & more - so stop by!), but all families are invited. Missed the last meeting? Minutes are online.

Movie Night

Get ready for family fun and enjoy watching Peter Rabbit under the stars in our own CRS backyard this Friday 10/12! Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the movie will start at 7:00 p.m. (as soon as it’s dark). Tickets are on sale online until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday 10/11. Pizza & water will be on sale. Walk-in tickets sold at door. Learn more and buy tickets!

Finding Calm

Parenting specialist Rachel Bailey returns to CRS this Friday, October 12 at 8:45 a.m., to share her insights into how we can help our kids handle stress and anxiety. She'll talk about fostering positive self-esteem and building resilience so that our children can tackle and adapt to whatever challenges they face. Learn more.

Heritage Night

Have you heard? It's the 25th anniversary of the Parade of Cuisines - and to celebrate 25 years of this amazing event, we're introducing Family Heritage Night - with five exciting activities. Encourage your child to participate in our "Heritage in Me" art craft and raffle - entries due THIS Thursday 10/11 - template is online. Plus sign-ups are open for our Fashion & Flag Show, Cultural Performances, Cultural booths - and of course, the volunteers who make this event possible! Learn more.

OktoberFest

Calling all 2nd Grade parents - on Wednesday 10/24, the 2nd Grade will host an "OktoberFESTIVAL" luncheon for all CRS teachers and staff. This is an opportunity for 2nd Grade parents to let the entire CRS staff know how much we appreciate their hard work. Learn more and sign-up for donation, set-up, and/or clean-up here.
